    I'm in LOVE!!

I recently bought an M1icon Garand and have been able to take it to the range a few times! This is the rifle for me!

I'm here to find out everything I can that I'll need to keep things going well.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Introduction

Just wanted to say hello. I am a retired police officer and a new member. I have been shooting 1000 yd benchrest at Hawks Ridge gun club in North Carolina for 5 years. I have 3 milsurp rifles that I've recently aquired, two were given to me. I have a vz24, 93 Spanish 7mm Mauser(1901 manufacture) and my baby an almost pristine no4 mk1. I'm still learning about these guns and I'm sure I'll have many questions from time to time. Again hello and I'm glad to be here.

    Hi All,

Looks like a great site for reference and learning about all things Military. Looking forward to exploring it more over our long winters in the Northwest Territories.

Where are you in the NT, Scairns? I spent a few years in Coppermine and Fort Smith.

    Hi everyone,

My name is Rob and I've just been bit by the collecting/shooting bug. I've admired military rifles for a long time, and recently purchased an excellent example of a lovingly preserved Garandicon. I'm looking forward to adding a '1903' and a k98k to my gun safe, so they can exchange war stories...

So far the feedback and willingness on the part of members to share information and experience has been tremendous. What a great community - I'm proud to be a part of it.

    See you downrange!

    Rob
