What’s your Lee Enfield Holy Grail?

Lots of very nice Grails.
Here are my two.
1945 Long Branch No. 4 T and a Valkyrie Arms DeLisle Commando Carbine (very quite).
Both are a joy to shoot.

Very nice! I assume that the Valkyrie Arms would not be importable into Canada because it's too darn quiet????

hello to everybody !
my favourite of all time is the SMLE, because it´s the epitome of the tommy
in both wars.
ok, there was also the No.4, but we still have desert rats and diggers charging w. SMLEs in the desert, in the jungles and so on.
and it was the first unified type rifle, i.e. one model for all branches,
replacing artillery and cavalry carbines !
maybe I´m biased, but I think most people think of the SMLE, when
mentioning enfields.

One that got away:

No4 Mk1*(T) Long Branch w/ the "Sporter" style stock (No scope). Looked at it for eight months or a year, but never jumped on it. It's now in Oz, somewhere.

Really a comfortable to use buttstock- the rubber recoil pad was getting a bit hard, though. Besides, where to find a C No32 Mk4 scope? (AKA C No67, I think)

A few weeks ago I saw a rather nice enfield that had been checked over and cosmo/arsenal wrapped. It was essentially new-old-stock.

New here but this looked decent to light into...

CLLE. Nice long barrel to moderate recoil and hang steadier shooting offhand, but (hopefully) sights regulated for Mk VIIz and a charger bridge.

I have been very fortunate in my collecting over the years, but sold quite a few several years ago to pay some bills. I really REALLY REALLY regret selling my LB No 4 Mk I(T), and a mint matching M&D stamped Long Lee. I've replaced most of the ones I sold, but I still would like to find a Long Branch sniper. They're hard to find and quite pricey.

Enfield Cavalry Carbine marked to 6th Hussars (as far as I can tell) and RNWMP
