    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello, I'm from Belgiumicon and googled myself to this forum.

    I mainly collect militaria from WW1 (incl. weapons). So far I have;
    Eddystone M1917 - SMLE Nr.1 MkIII - M1886/93 'Lebel' - Gew.98 - Kar.98AZ -
    Colt M1911 - Webley Mk.VI - M1892. I'm looking for a C96 to complete the
    picture.
    From my 'old' WW2-collection I still have a Kongsberg M1914, a Garandicon and
    a M1911A1. The last 2 are the only ones I take to the shooting range.

    Looking forward to the exchange of information.

    I'm a 70 years young retired Geologist. I collect Japanese militaria, primarily rifles, bought my first in 1949. Have authored, co-authored several books on Arisakas, one on the Type 99 Arisakaicon, 2nd edition, is at publishers.

    Currently working on manuscript on foreign rifles used by the Japanese in the Post Perry - Pre Murata, 1853-1869 period. Could use photos of any Japanese-marked early, non-Japanese, rifles in your collections.

    Hello

    [Just a note to clear the "Nag". I've owned a bubba'd SMLE for ever but purchased my first true MilSurp, so I thought that this would be a good place for accurate info. Under same handle at CGN,CGS and HuntingBC.

    Hi guy's and gals
    My name is Garter and I run a small gunsmithing shop. Often working with and repairing (restoring) military firearms. I love to hear and see what everyone is doing with thier collections from shooting competitions to just the love of the beast.
    I guess you could say I am hooked.
