I agree with you the acorn blanks look to be right for this pistol. That could be why it takes alot of strength to pull hammer back to load.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. mmppres,
Since I seen your post, I've looked hard online trying to see another with no luck.
Have come no closer than to find out drgm more or less means made in Germanyicon.

Can you tell me what the letters in the triangle are?
I can't make them out with your pics.
Just curious....... you know how that goes............

    Cheers,
    Charlie-painter777

Should be WBS but that doesn't really help the search parameters much, even fewer results than drgm.

It wasn't that hard... This is the abbreviation of Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs Muster(Germanicon Realm Customs Sample). Try this site. D.R.G.M.??????? in German Pistols Forum

Try this one... Gun Indentification German Hunting Guns
