    Another 1941 Johnson soon to be on the range *pic*

    You'll find the 1941 Johnson an enjoyable and comfortable shooting rifle. I've had my latest one for over 10years and taken it to Camp Perry to shot it in the Garandicon Match a few times. It is still in the original configuration and never refinished. I always felt sorry for the guy two spots over from me on the firing line as the cartridges are ejected at a 90 degree angle and invaritably landed right on their neck
    If you haven't picked up it up yet, I highly recomend the book by Bruce Canfield on the Johnson Rifles. Its a wealth of information.

    Nice rifle! I'm now in the hunt for the bayonet. I' m also looking for that very small leaf spring on the right front of the magazine. It's the only piece of the rifle that's not correct.
