    35 years accumulating stuff. They just add up.

    A friend of mine had two Liberators. He had a few drinks and thought it would be fun to shoot and see how bad the stovepipe would be. I thought he was nuts. We had just bought ours with in the last few months (1989) for $800 each.

    We went out in his back yard. I shot the first 10 and said that was enough for me. He kept going. On number 18 it shattered in his hand. Almost all the spot welds broke apart. He didn't get hurt thank goodness.

    He shrugged it off and put the parts in a baggie. Sold them at the next gun show for $400.

    Needless to say, I have never fired the one I have.

    I heard originals are going for about $3,000 to $3,500 now. I found the book about 8 years ago to go with it.
