That's a 1944 Remington Rand and in a serial range with other known British
proved pistols. Yes, that pistol was most likely lend-leased when new. The pistol still looks about new condition. That's the way you want them to look, especially with British proofs.
Thanks for showing it to us.

Great Forum!
I have a lend-lease Remington Rand that's about 90%. Can anyone venture a ballpark value?
The slide and barrel are both marked "Not British
Made". The slide is also stamped "Released British Govt 1952". The barrel has three "Crown" stamps on it with "BV" in them , the slide has one and the frame has one.

Probably $1350 to $1450 range, give or take. That is if it is all correct and original.

Therre are no real known or assigned serial ranges specifcally for Lend-Lease pistols, but your pistol does fall in a range common to having the British
commercial proof markings that would have been on Lend-Lease pistols when your pistol was released.
