    Hi Steve,

Congrats for the new "Babes"! I wish i could find such an original one over here for an good price. Most of them are from an importer who uses the original metallwork in an cheap made new stock. Those stocks will often brake and he wants to have around 800Euros for such an poor thing. Have fun with yours!!!
    Regards Ulrich

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Thanks, gunner. Good to hear from you.

I always wondered how popular vintage US military firearms were in Europe. There are so many fine European vintage military firearms. I know that you have several US military rifles. Are there many such collectors over there?

I also had another bit of luck last week. A local "black rifle" gun store had a raffle of an AR pattern rifle to benefit the local Sheriff's office.

Last week they called me and advised that I had won. WooHoo!. I'll post some pics of it when I pick it up

Good luck and have a Frohe Weihnachten.

    Hi Steve,

its always good to hear from you too! Had a lot of work and will have the next year too, good so far.
Some of the US rifles have an high value over here in one or the other way. The A303´s are well known as great shooters and good and 100% original ones are hard to find and expensive.
The M1917 are really good shooters at 300m. The Garandicon is a nice to have rifle and hard to get too. I had bad luck on an Korean war M1D Sniper in very good condition with transportation chest and so on. The seller was a Mauser collector and he sold it for unbelievable 1000Euros. The Carbine is a fun rifle and we have two interesting disciplines for it. The next great stuff are the 1911er.
I´m curios to see the pics!

Have a good time and a very Merry Christmas!

    All the best

    Ulrich
