Yes, it's a Mills tropical sling for the krag. I have an original on my 1896 krag. It came on a canteen I bought 20 plus years ago.

The originals are very hard to find. Usually it's because the owner doesn't know what he has...or you get a repro...I had a pair of Kerr No-Bukle slings and sold them both for good money, never suspecting I'd have a Krag to put one on. I guess you can only hold stuff for so many years(20) before moving it along...

Very nice sling. I went to verify mine and it fell into pieces so I went ahead and ordered one of these. It was not a military sling on mine so no worries. Didn't realize it was in that bad of shape though.
