As I understand there are always left over lower halves as they are not fitted when a grenade launcher is installed. So plenty spare lower halves around, never any top halves.

    Thanks for solving that mystery! I figured there was a logical explanation. Round two. Why are there lots of M-16 A1 NOS left hand guards and no Rights? I have found several lefts. No rights.
