I don't think any of us from our group (last year nine) will be going to Perry this year. With high cost of Ammo,Primmers & Powder its time for a change.

Just back from the "Games". Yes, we were issued Hornady 168gr AMAX. It seems to run approxmately 2600fps. Very pleasant to shoot and I heard of no malfunctions on the line at all. The rate at which we were all ripping the 3" spotters apart is a true testament to the accuracy of the new issue ammo. Its a little smokey, but not terrible. If you look at the results. Across the board with the variety of rifles fired you can see how well it performed. I'm sure ya'll will see and hear more about this ammo in the next few weeks. Good stuff!

Could it really be because they (CMP) will be out of HXP by then? They are still filling all of our backorders and besides, it would be more profitable to them.
