    Newbie

    HI everyone,

Rick helped me research my 1903 Mark I and clued me into this site. I am new to the researching of my weapons and this appears to be the perfect place to be part of. I now have 2 1903a3, 5 Garands, and 2 Carbines to research in adddition to the Mark 1 that Rick was so kind and helpful to assist me with on the 1903 forum. The aka references my hobby of sass cowboy shooting which I enjoy in addition to DCM highpower events I compete in.

    Thanks
    Harry

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. New Hereabouts...

Been shooting since 1983 and collecting since 1988 or so. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about most milsurps, though I am weak on early stuff like the Gras, Murata, Kropatchek and also Carcani. I have a special weak spot for .303s and Krags. Kragicon tastes and a .303 budget.... Hm.

    Hello All:
I found my way to this site because of my interest in Springfield trapdoor rifles. I have one that clearly appears to be stamped '1878', but everyone on the internet insists that it must be an '1873' model stamped with an imperfect die. I shall continue my quest.

Hello to all "Older" mebers and fellow "Newbees".
I am new to this Forum and look forward to reading and commenting on subjects related to US military collecting.
I have a small collection of US WWII military weapons and equipment. My center of interest is the Southwest Pacific Theater of Operations in WWII with a focus on the 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment known from their orginazation in 1942 as the "Wild Cats" and after their jump on Corregidor in 1945 as "The Rock" Regiment.
I also post on the CMPicon Forum.
    Best Wishes,
    Stargazer
