Howdy y'all,
I'm a 16 year old collector (I hate trying to find places to store stuff!) of pre 1945 US militaria, with my preference being WW1. My WW1 combat uniform is almost complete, yahoo! I also am into classic cars; mainly Studebakers (Hence my user name). My personal milsurp rifles are a 1917 Enfield (Dream gun, needed it for the WW1 uniform! Great shooters they are), a '42 Aussie Lee Enfield, and one other sporterized Lee Enfield. I got a lead on 3 other Lee's as well, one being a No.5 Jungle carbine! That would be sweet indeed. (Expecially when your only 16!)

Hello All, New to the forum. Just purched a new - old 1903A3, made in 3-43, ser nums and date stamp match up for correct date, had no clue until started reading about the 03A3 somewhere in this forum. This is a great place for info about the wonderful military rifles of yesterday. It is a Rem and has all the right r's everywhere. Took it to the range Tuesday, shot 30 rounds, it liked the Rem-factory 150 gn but did not like my 10 re-loads. The factory 150 shot a five inch group at 100yds, I was well pleased for the first time out. I plan to start using hard cast lead for re-loads and will need some help so Hello.....I do not cast (yet) so will have to start by buying the bullets, any suggestions where. Reading some post, looks like 2400 is a good powder using 17 / 19 grns with 180 / 190 grn bullets for a easy reduced load.

I am a new member with a life long attraction(obsession) with military rifles. There is something new every time you think you know for sure.
