not that i doubt you however..
military specs to modify for drill use.
weld a plug in the breach, usually a 3 inch steel rod,
cut a section of the chamber with a torch, to weld said rod into the breach.
weld the barrel to the reciever, usually a 1 inch weld on the bottom side.
grind the firing pin tip off, weld the striker hole at the bolt face,
install the bolt, weld accross the cutoff down, so the bolt cant be removed.
remove the front sight blade or grind it off.
the few hundred or so i delt with were done this way, some more then others, some much less.
i need to know these things if you want them made into shooters.

in any event, i have barrels available, and likely most of the parts needed to get the job done, depending on how much money you want to spend, or maybe a part trade..
best bet is to contact me direct.

When I look at your pics on photobucket I get a malicious attack warning. You may want to check your PC for a virus. I only get it on your pics.

    FWIW

Removal of weapons from scrap pile sounds like theft. Anybody hear about the guys at Lake City who were selling bullet jackets by the truck load? Make sure you are OK with these toys. Last time I heard all '03's and Garands were being turned over to CMPicon for ultimate disposition.

Plastic stocks mean they are ex-ROTC rifles probably in use within the last 20 years.
