" as stamped by Century Arms on a Long Branch rifle is the country of manufacture. The BATF&E requirement is the business name of the importer, (can be abbreviated), caliber and country of manufacture.

It is now.
Back in the 50s and 60s, I believe, just the country of origin was required. My question was for the earlier imports not the recent ones.

Yep, read my post #14. The current requirement came into play after they passed the GCA
