A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Actually Orlando, I think i hijacked the thread originally (sorry dbarn ). There are several listed on Gunbroker right now. Other than that, I would post a "wanted" add on the trader forum. I'll bet someone contacts you pretty quick. Another place to contact would be MB Company. Hope that helps.

No problem islandhopper we are here to help each other. Just wanted to let you know, I finally got all of the goop out of the center hole of mine and the center hole is shaped like a funnel. Large at the top and narrowing down to the bottom at a 45 degree angle. It's definitely not a flat bottom hole. When did they stop puting a border around the the top edge of the screw? Is this a Winchester trait?
