Hello from Harrisonville, MO
Hi I'm John. I'm fairly new to collecting (2008) and have a C&R license. (What a process!) I have three Enfields, quite a few Mausers, some complete
, a couple of Mosin Nagant 91/30's, a couple of Carcano's, antique shotguns and muskets. My favorite piece is the 71/84. I also enjoy primitive archery and other primitive wilderness skills. This seems like a knowledgeable group, so I'll try not to ask any real dumb questions.

hello:
I'm in the process of restoring an old M1917 that i bought back in '64, from a surplus store, here in Utah for the price of $30. like everyone at the time I took it home and striped it of all the top wood and cut the stock of at the second clamp. I'm now thankful I didn't mill it down like all my bud's. I liked the peep sight and got my deer the next week. I picked up a choped one and am restocking it.

Good Morning everyone. I'm new to the site, just found it while trying to find a value on my 1944 General Motors M1A1
Carbine, with bayonet and scabbard. the weapon is in excellent condition. I found it in a pawn shop in Portsmouth Virginia about 30 years ago. Glad I found this site.

I just registered after being led to the site by google. The lposted video on reassembling the firing pin on the yugo M 57 is just what I needed. When I was firing it today, several times I had to recock the hammer. I've only put about 75 rounds through it including milsurp, commercial and handloads and have never had the problem before. I cleaned the boltface and pushed the pin forward and cleaned around it but was hesitant to disassemble any further until this video. Thanks.

Another New Guy
Hi everyone! New to this site, but not to military firearms. I have been collecting for many years. Due to my last divorce and some other hardships I had to let a rather extensive collection of US military firearms go.
Bummer, but life goes on.
I have been focusing on revolvers lately and just started to get back into some military stuff. I doubt if I'll ever get back into it at the former level, but you never know. Anyway, that's all for now and I am going to post a couple of pictures in the appropriate sub forums in a little while.
