Hi, my name is Lou, 61 yr old ,navy vet, who as most all of you , love Milsurp Firearms. I have a 5 digit Garand
, Inland Carbine , Mosin 91/30, and most recently a 1938 k31. Along with Milsurp , I have a love of Lefever Nitro specials. I live in Texas, retired by Cancer in 07, but free since , Love to shoot my guns every chance I get and add to them when possible. I have been around guns all my life and never knew many I didn't Like, teaching Grand sons how to handle and shoot as My father did me and I taught my sons. We must keep the tradition Alive.

Hello Milsurps.com!
Hello,
I'm trying to learn more about milsurp rifles and hopefully acquire some. I am on CGN under the same username. Although I used to hunt when I was younger and spent some time in the reserves, I am interested in target shooting and collecting now. I only have an SKS and a reproduction M1
Carbine, but its a start!
Looking forward to learning from the forum!
Dibbly.

Hello, I'm new to this site and I'm sure There is a lot I can learn from the members. Occasionally I change my interest in guns and I'm now trying to learn about the Enfield L42A1. They are so rare that the odds of coming across a "clone" is much higher than my actually finding one. My first question is...Were they ever left in the .303 configuration? I've seen Enfields with the L42A1 stock and the scope pads, but in .303 and M37C and TR stamped on the left side. What do you think it might be? The L42A1 is such a fine looking gun that it's almost impossible not to want one. Is this a trainer or maybe a stock change, to make it look like the real thing?
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

New Member Intro
Hello, everyone; just joined the website and was notified I needed to make an initial post to introduce myself. Just developed an interest in WWII military weapons, and I'm in the market for a Swiss
K31, so I'll be checking the WTS link occasionally. Just purchased a Mosin-Nagant M91/30 to go with my M44 carbine, then 'stumbled across' info about the K31.
Anyway, I'll be checking for that K31 (and other rifles) now that I've found this site.
