Hi to everyone. Not so much a collector (unless you talk to the wife) as an acquirer, I love to shoot and waited too long to come back to what was a common pasttime on my youth. From 1950 to 1960 my Dad, brothers and I would shoot almost every week. Then life got in the way for some 50+ years. Anyway, I know I can learn much here.
Mike

Intro
Hi. I am a collector who has just found this forum. I have specialized in WWII weapons and am getting in to the old black powder rifles now. I have a few, but am trying to learn more about them. I've been trained as a gunsmith although I don't do that commercially anymore. My specialties were the 1911, Lugers (hence the name), Colt SAAs, and SASS guns.

Hey there, been collecting for a couple years now - really ramped up my interest in various WWII arms this year. Now I'm on the hunt for a nice C96 Broomhandle.

Hello all My name is Gregory. This is my first post. I have been acquiring surplus rifles for about 20 years. I started my surplus rifle collection the day I turned 18 with a 1917. I used it to shoot in my first post rifle match at Ft. Carson CO. I did very poorly. I met alot of match shooters and they took me under their wings. I still shoot in the midwest and Camp Perry when my job permits. I served in the Infantry for six years. I like the bolt actions the best. The oldest rifle I have is an M71/84. I reload for most of my surplus rifles I miss the days when surplus guns were 50 bucks. When I was in the Army I lived in the pawn shops and purchased all I could afford. I have purchased alot of bubbafied rilfes and returned the ones I could back to military Configuration.

G'day Everyone.
G'day Everyone,
I am a new member to this site I have taken up shooting again since 2007 after a rather long hiatus. I am a member of the Military Rifle Club in Victoria. I like the older military style bolt action rifles and usually shoot comps with them at least once a month.
Looking forward to checking out what is happening around on here.
Cheers
