Many thanks for a great site. My name is Ken and I'm an ex Gunnery sailor from the Royal Australian Navy. Having just got back into collecting ammunition as well as hunting and target shooting I recently took posession of a Savage Stevens made Lee Enfield Mk4 .303 stamped US Property.
The old girl is in good condition considering it hasn't been used for 10 years. I have been collecting ammo since High School and the oldest round I have is a .303 round marked CAC 10 10 which I guess means the " Colonial Ammunition Company" October 1910.
Regards......Ken

Joe in the hills
Hi Ya'll from the High Hills of South Carolina, new to the Military Surplus Collectors Forums.
Have been collecting for over 20+ yrs. Initially, mostly USGI M-1's, carbines, and 'O3's w/ a couple of K98's and an Type 99.
Until this year when I acquired a Finn M27 and that got me collecting M-N's (22 to date) and the last was an unissued M39 unissued in post war stock, and awaiting (hopefully) this week my 1st M44.
Happy Father's day to all that have been that fortunate.
