Smile Hi All - New Member

Hi All - Just joined the forum today. I live near Bristol in the UKicon and have been collecting bayonets and other sharp edged and pointy things for quite a few years now. I sometimes sell bayonets on e-bay under the name of 'bernie_the_fox' (mainly to make room for new items and to keep my wife happy)

Kind regards to all - James

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I'll be 60 next month and have been collecting WWII to VN US military related memorabilia and weapons off and on since I was a kid. My latest quest has been an M1C and 1903A4 sniper rifles so may be looking for a few answers to some questions.

    "New" Member

Hi there. Even though I've been registered with this forum for a good while, I guess I am still considered a new member because I haven't introduced myself to the community. I've been a collector for 10 years and have a number of pre-WWI, WWI & WWII rifles. I don't communicate much because I can usually find answers to my questions on sites like this one by simply looking up the correct topic. Uh, that's all folks!

    Hello to All,

I have just joined and wished to say hello to you all

My name is Russ and I live in St Leonard's, East Sussex in the UKicon; I am the Senior Range Conducting Officer of a local shooting Club.

Since my beloved L39 died some years ago, I have been without a Lee-Enfield, but I am about to rectify this !

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    Russ

    Newbie to this forum

New member to this forum, but a long time member of NES, GB, K98kicon, and paralaxbill.

Joined this forum as another reference and parts source.

I have a 27 piece collection of mostly German and American WWI +II pieces; 12 are pistols. Most rifles have bayonets and slings, and most pistols are rigged.

Good day to the members here

Just found and joined the forum. I am a LONG time (30 or so yrs) class III guy here in the US. (that is machineguns for all the Non-US guys) and also collected Military rifles and pistols over the years. My attention has wandered, so the collection changes. I noted a number of very knowledgeable folks on this board, and look forward to learning more. Standing invitation to the Non-US guys to come shoot if you get the chance to come over to the US, I am located in Minnesota - near Minneapolis. We can shoot some interesting guns on our private range....
Maxims, Vickers, Lewis, Brownings, BRENs, Thompsons, and modern stuff like M60s and M249 to name a few. I do get to Europe, and would love to meet fellow collectors there . Also would like to hear of interesting museums you come across.

    Brian
