A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Marsh Gun

Good Day to all, This is Marsh Gun from the flat land of Maryland's eastern shore bay country region. I have viewed this website as a guest and now I'm registered. I enjoy shooting and restoring US vintage military firearms. I am also a Regional Safety Supervisor for a corporation that is involved in the construction of electrical distribution systems as well as a hobby gunsmith.

Looks like it measures deflection through the slotted sight with the threaded portions engaging a taught line , string or fencing wire giving deflection in inches at 25 yd increments

    Hi All

My name is Stephen and I am chairman of the WW2 Relic Retrieval & Preservation Group in the UKicon. We spend our spare time visitng old WW2 sites here in the UK recovering and preserving relics from the conflict. I have joined the forum to ask for help on certain items that have so far eluded identification, as well as to share what we find, and to share the knowledge I have about WW2 ordnance, aircraft parts, personal items.....anything to do with the conflict.

My group members have a say about me that, 'he can identify a rusty piece of crap from 50 yards, so long as it has something to do with WW2!'. Not sure if it is a compliment or not to be honest!

    Kind regards

    RRPG (Stephen)

    Thumbs up Young new member

Hello everybody! I'm 16 years old and I just started shooting High Power Rifle Matches in April. I always wanted an M1icon Garand and I saw this as a way to earn one. I shot an AR in a CMPicon certified match at my local gun club and was able to qualify for one. Me and my grandpa know own 5 M1s and many more to come I hope!
