    Hi Guys

Just got registered on the forum. I used to be a regular on some of the old LE forums but circumstances and other interests dragged me away. Now I have the time again and a couple of interesting project rifles, so I recon this is a good forum to be in.
happy new year to you all.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Talking

    Hello!
I am an old retired auto mechanic that has hunted and shot all of my life.
The fact that I inherited all of my dads old guns plus the ones that I bought my self must mean that I am a collecter too.
At present I am cleaning up a pair of Snider Enfields and pair of Martini Henrys.
I'm also putting Getz barrel on an old English shotgun.
I'm new to using black powder but not new to reloading in general.
I live in south eastern Saskatchewan:

    Hello

Greetings all. Just signed up and am hoping to spend a lot of time here. Have a great interest in military rifles, handloading, cast bullets and a tinker/machinist.
Just picked up a sportered long branch #4MKI* two groove barrel, parker hale sight ramp up front. But missing the rear sight, front sight insert, both trigger guard screws, butt plate and both screws. Walnut forend and buttstock. Have spent two evenings cleaning the junk out of the barrel. Hey, at least it keeps me off the streets. Frank

    new to collecting

I have a few enfields, I'm most proud of the Jungle Carbine I have I wish it didn't kick so hard. I am looking forward to reading the forum and learning more about enfields and other rifles. I also have bayonets mostly enfields.
