    Thanks both!
    A 27-2 runs for 850-1200 € here, rather 950-1200 really.
This one really looks good and has the wooden grips I love so much.
I'll have to bang my head a couple times this evening and then take a decision.
The other one I have been waiting for has black grips, not rubber ones, but still black. Checkered.
I don't know that kind of grips, but they seem to be original.

If it feels right then jump. Otherwise it will be gone and you'll have to start again. Mind you, there'll be another come up down the road...maybe...

They are the original grips Ovi had them on my 357/686's S&W's but in the heat etc in summer changed to the Pachmyer grips did not slip as much though I agree with you nothing matches the feeling of wood either in a pistol or rifle.

What material are they made of? Looks like hard plastic, but somehow there seems to be more to them than just that.

The wood grips vary a bit in wood type, I think those are rosewood as Cinders says...they have a deep varathane finish which gives a plastic look. The rubber Pachmayr grips will harden over time and use and a few other things and sometimes look like they're hard plastic too. There were also a couple of other manufacturers of grips that did make plastic...

I noticed now that I did not really explain myself.
The grips on the other pistol are black. I don't really know what kind of grips they are.
I posted a picture a few minutes ago. They look exactly like these ones.

Pachmayr target grips, or they should be so marked just inside the top edge.
