    is there a forum for the vickers mmg
    I have some questions like
    what way is up for the barrel...feed ramp up or down?
    what is the other use for the T bolt that goes through the top of the grips?

    Yes, there is a dedicated Vickers site at Weapons Online. The correct way for the barrel to be fitted is with the chamfered feed ramp at the top. The other purpose of the T bolt is to attach the side plate for the dial sight.

    There are two lengths of the T handle. One for with the fixed line sight bracket and another without. Also, the slightly indented head on one of the T's is for stripping the lock. It allows you to push out the lock cross pins without damaging them.
