12-259 Garand Picture of the day
The following is a photo of Charles H. Honea when he entered the ARMY. Charles came from the town of Muscatine, Iowa. He was assigned to Service Battery, 38th F.A.Bn, 2nd Inf Div. He was captured on Nov 30, 1950. He died in a POW camp on Jan 29, 1951.

That was the week the Chinese launched their surprise attack that defeated the Army and ROK units on the flanks of the Marines at the Chosin Reservoir, cutting them off.
