    Nice Example Of Woodworking Skills

The 7.62 No4 LB I bought to 'break down' for parts had a butt on which somone had gone to a lot of trouble to 'sporterise'. They made (to my mind) an excellent job and way beyond my woodworking skills.
Almost seamless splices and as good as the old armourers patch on the heel of the butt.

Not suitable for an 'original' configured Enfield No4 but very nice all the same.

Seems that he used 2 - 3 buttstocks to build this one.
