Writing as a satisfied customer - contact KevG (of this parish) for some nicely made repros.

I don't know if many of you know it, but after they were withdrawn, the actual butt handle assemblies were used a the carrying handle for the early
2" mortars. Not the Mk7's and 8's that were in use up to the late 80's (replaced with 51mm's) but the ones with the long base plate and dial sight.......also copied and cheapened from the Bren

I'll vouch for them too, if you need a AA handle, don't look any further than Kev. If you've seen the 2 other repro handle types on ebay, the first is completely wrong and has no resemblance to the original and the second looks correct but the fit and finish is poor quality. Stick with Kev G if you want the quality.

I got my repro butt handle from Mike Priest's stall at Beltring last year. I believe the grip and grip plate are original parts and the reproduced stem and nut appear to be near perfect copies.
I'd previously purchased one of the copies that International Military Antiques sell and it had various errors, including not sticking out at the right angle.

Mikes are the same as the ones Kev sells, top quality. I've one of those IMA versions (Got it before I knew Kev G was selling them) and I had to take a file to it to get it to fit. The actual finish is very rough with very bad machine markings.
