    No7 firing pin

Does anyone have a drawing for an RAF No7 Mk1 firing pin? I am thinking about having some made up.

Some years ago Brian Dickicon had BSA No7 Mk1 parts made up (bolt, bolt head, ejector, striker etc) he may be able to point you in the right direction.

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Simplicity itself. Get a No8 firing pin, remove the firing pin part and insert an extended firing pin to suit the No7 extended bolt. Silver solder in place and that's it.

When the RAF Cadets still had them the workshops used to make them all the time. I had the length here once but can't find it now

I found this whilst it does not give measurements they have kindly left a ruler there below the F/P I know its as rough as guts but at least you'll be able to get it damn close.
Think I sorta gauged it from 19mm - 85mm which put the length of the pin from the face of the back part of the F/P Assy at 66mm OAL. (See pics middle of page you cannot copy the pic sadly)
