So, you still need to drill holes? That's where I'd be out of whack I think...I'd maybe make a paper template to show where to drill.

Problem is that so many mkii** have holes already. Best to use those existing ones.

Ahh yes. If you have a receiver without the holes. Then I would have them pre drilled on the bridge.

Nice work. Those with holes already drilled in receivers could amuse themselves by fitting four short screws with pointed tips from inside the bolt way so they just protrude past the outside faces of the receiver, then tapping the bridge down over same when they have it where they think it should be. Result should be four lines showing where to drill holes in base. Or just scribe some marks with a curved dental pick.
