same guy is selling a re-weld (welded) M1icon and knows it but isn't telling any bidders. Are these barrel markings legit?

The front band on the questionable USMC is from a M1917. This guy has a lot of problems with all of his rifles.

The barrel markings appear to be legitimate.

As a matter of note, the USMC barrel is incorrectly fitted with an '03-A3 upper band.

    Hope this helps.

The seller and I emailed back and forth quite a bit and he knows of or now sees the reweld issue and offered the buyer a refund. Can't do anymore then that. His other auctions DO have more than just a few issues.
