Unidentified #4mk2
Hello all, this is my first post here. I've been lurking or sometime though thanks to the excellent information shared here. The serial number matches on all parts but isn't what I'm used to seeing on an mk2 the number is N1363. The only other marking on the action body is a C in an oval, which also appears on the tip of the forestock and butt. Any help is greatly appreciated

I have asked the same question in the past. I have two No.4 Mk2s with the N prefix.

I have one converted by CAL to a Canadian DCRA 7.62.

I've got at least one as well.
I believe that the conjecture was (pretty much under the table) commercial sales.

Mine is a bog standard No.4Mk.2, sn. N1310 as carried into Canadian Arsenals in the 1960's for conversion to 7.62, DCRA conversion #430.
