C-47 4th June 1944
4thJune 1944 as Lt Alex Bobuck ckecks a manifest on the morning of June 4th for the benefit of Signal Corps Cameraman, In the backgrount stands C-47 315087 Lady Lillian from the 440th Troop Carrier Group, Left to Right are Pvt Anthony Wincensiak, Sgt Tom Newell, Pvt Ray Calandrella, Jesse Cross, John Rinehart, Sgt Bill Pauli, T/5 Jack Harrison, PFC Harry Howard T/5 Charles Riley & S/Sgt John Taormina (SC photo from Michel De Trez Collection)
That was sort of what I was looking for but I was more curious if this aircraft managed to survive and dispatch it's troops. Since this info was available, I have reason to believe it did and wasn't shot down on approach(like several were).
