I am probably going to regret this but I have decided to sell my cutie from brazil. Great bore, nice wood, the floor plate & bolt are missmatched & it shoots like nothing I have had before. the only bad thing about it is the buttplate, which is on the big side & has some old pitting on it. No I did not sand the stock & it was in super cosmo when I got it, so niether did the last guy. $400 shipped with 42 1f brass, & a set of lee dies. Emt only the wait for the postman kills me.

I love those old Braziians. It's kind of hard to tell from the single pic (far left rifle), but this looks like a very good price (including brass and 7x57mm dies!). A lot depends upon condition, so ask for more pics closeer up.

Compare those against the Brazilian Model 1908 Mauser Rifle (Mfg DWM) (click here), in the South America - Milsurp Knowledge Library (click here)

Aparently the bolt and floorplate are m/m, but that's not a deal killer for the right price.

I love these old South American contract Mausers. The Brazilianicon and Argentinian versions especially were built to the highest possible standards in Germanyicon. They are EXCELLENT rifles and my 1908 is a keeper.

Looks like a decent example. If I didn't alreayd have one, I'd jump on it before some maroon buys it for "the action"

Boy, now I feel like a true bum for chopping up all those 1908's Sarcos were selling a few years back, but, they were true bottom feeders. Anyhow they made super accurate fat barrel rigs that has financed my milsurp collection. In life we all make sacrifices, but, If I only knew then what I know now-SDH
