    NBC/money show last night.....

Wife called to me to turn to channel 5,NBC,last night, they were doing a show about people who had unclaimed property/funds due them, one of the alphabet sta's did a simular show(also Oprah)about a year or two ago,NBC said last night to visit their web site to search to see if you were on an unclaimed funds list and that their web site was only place you could do it,that is B.S.,every state has their own web site and there are a couple who connect to every state,I've been doing name/notification searches for about 5 yrs. now, have found/notified hundreds of people who I found on lists and they in turn have found many of their relatives who were on lists, have found over 150 on old CSPicon site and this new site,it's 100% free, the law does not allow any one to charge a finders fee, they used to show value of each account til about 2yrs. or so ago, some sharpies wrote a small program that pulled out amount values of 4 digits or more, would locate people and charge them a % of the funds, now states only list amounts as over/under a certain amount. I haven't done any more searches since I got this new computer because of it's problems, will start again when they are solved.
