    choosing between 1903a3s

As the title says I'm looking at two 1903a3s. One is a Remington and the other is a Smith Corona. Both look to be in good condition and the prices are close. Is there anything that all things equal would recommend one manufacturer over the other or should I just go for the one that is the best deal?
Thank you in advance for any thoughts on this.

All things being equal the SC is the rarer of the two.
I would choose the SC, you can always get a Remington later!
If all things are not equal, go with the one that has the most original parts and looks the best!

I agree - if both were original, go with the Smith-Corona. If both are made up of mixed parts and/or have been refinished, go with the one in the best condition and with the most original parts.
