    No4T Scope Pads

Being a neophyte in regards to no.4 T's,my question is whom currently makes the most accurate reproduction scope pads.
I've read about the Sarco/Pacific Rim generic types & the Accumounts & have seen the Fulton's pads but with no comments about their quality.
    Thoughts?

Fultons. But in the end, they are only as accurate as a) the rifle they're fitted to, b) as good as you fit them and c) as good as you adjust to collimate with the telescope and bracket you fit to them.

I have a set of pads from DS Solutions (and set from Fulton's, but these are set aside for future No4T clone project, that's still some considerable time off) that i was hopping to utilise on a L42 copy im getting close to being at pad/scope mounting/collimating stage. I am unable to discern any noticeable difference between the 2 sets, unlike a set of the asian made items an associate had, which i examined and found to be somewhat crudely made - to my eyes.

So my question is are the DS Solutions pads considered of a reasonable quality/usable?

I don't know the answer to your Q but I wouldn't mind betting that your good quality sets came from the same stable originally.

And for Macca's benefit, there is a 3 part article detailing exactly how to set your proposed No4T rifle up - properly

The pads from Fultons and DS Solutions are excellent. The ones from Sarco are crap. I wouldn't even consider using them.

+ 1 on the Sarcos. You really need to remake the rear pad as its unusable...

The Sarco front pads are unusable too. Steer clear.

I'd say send them back for a refund but it may be more trouble than it's worth since you're in Denmarkicon. Go to Fultons of Bisley - G E Fulton Son or http://www.ds-solution.co.uk and get a set
