    Strange cartridge, anyone?

    How about this funny looking bullet? Any ideas? Base measures about .355" and rim about 385". Bullet is inside the case and the crimp is a center punch mark. Thanks.

    I'm w/ JBS. His reference photo shows more case neck reduction than is common, based on my limited exposure to these rounds. There are quite a "few" variants, however!

    With the examples I have, it maches perfectly to the 7.62 Nagant revolver cartridge. They have the same sloped shoulder and the dot crimp part way down.
