20 year wait is over......

I have waited a very long time to acquire one of these in reasonable condition with original frame.
They show the AIF forces in WWI, who commanded them, their colour patches, battle engagements, casualties in the war of 1914 ~ 1918.
This one is all original the frame, backing paper & boards though the paper is very fragile & suffering, the glass is cracked, but that is its patina.

But it is all there the blue is part of a flare from the other room the coke can is for scale.
I am very happy to have found this at a small second hand dealer at a garage in the mid west wheatbelt area out the back of beyond I'm stoked.

Considering what I have seen them go for on the net this one was a reasonable price not cheap but not skyrocket priced.

It's a great piece of history and shows that is worth keeping your eyes open when you're out and about.
