    Looking for M1A scope mount,Questions?

What do you guys consider a decent affordable scope mount for my new M1Aicon. I see prices all over the map, from steel to aluminium.
Just looking for RELIABILITY and at a reasonable price.

Get a Bassett, either the Picatinny low or high. It is the most trouble free and user-friendly mount you will ever own. It retains it's zero after removed and reinstalled. I know because I have one and everyone else I read about has the same experiences as me. It will also not shoot loose. Use the torque wrench they provide and follow the directions. It's hard to believe, but it works and it's simple.
