Maybe someone on this sight can help. My grandfather (USMA 1921) survived Bataan and subsequently died on a jap POW ship headed for Japanicon. He was an expert Army pistol (M1911 I assume) shot to the extent that he went to Camp Perry most every year and was on the Army pistol team that went to (or tried out for) the Olympics back in the 1930's. Attached is a picture of him on the firing line. I assume back in those days with this skill he would have earned some type Army insignia. What might it have been? THANKS
