    value of a winnie?

Hello all, I have a chanch of getting a winnie in the 1,200,000 range. It has been ftr'd an has a AAM stanp left side od stock around the reciver area. Would like too know if 850.00 would be too much? BBl is shinny with good rifleing an there is no rust anywhere. Qas bought from CMPicon for 750.00 an I know that m-1 carbs are getting scarce. tia for any info. michael

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. We need more information on it. Is the barrel original? What are all the other parts inside? The barrel is the main thing. $850.00 is steep for a CMPicon carbine. I don't know what Winnie carbine would have been bought for $750.00.

I got a winchester at the North store, price was $675 + tax, brings total to $717 and some change. Then I had to have it shipped, so that brings it to over $740

    Winchester

Shameless plug here, but on topic. I've got a Winchester spring tube carbine on Gunbroker right now that closes in a couple hours and it's only around $600. Don't have the link, but if you search for Winchester spring tube, you should find it.

    No - not the one...

Thanks, but that's not it. Mine closes in a few minutes - may be closed by now. The # is 124679041. I try not to ever have a reserve.

    Winchester - Gunbroker

Thanks again CAFDFW. I'm always happy to let the free market system work. What I don't understand is why some people think they can sneak in a bid in the last minute! This isn't like eBay where you can snipe with a few seconds left. On Gunbroker, any bid within the last 15 min. resets the clock for another 15 minutes.
