No quality control on Wolf Ammo??

I read somewhere, maybe on here that the Russians have ceased their quality control on the Wolf ammo due to pressure in filling orders in a timely manner.
Can't remember where I saw it and have no way of knowing if it is true. Seeing the disaster which befell one of our members while shooting Wolf ammo brought this to mind. I don't and never will shoot Wolf ammo. Do any of you all have better information on this?

That is ture. The State Department has notified all federal agencys that it would be best not to use any ammo made by Wolf or other companies that is made in Russiaicon as there is no quality control on ALL Russian exported ammo. The President of Russia signed the order to increase production about 4 to 6 months ago as the Russians have several very large orders for ammunition.

DOUBLE Horse Pookey !! spreading rumors like this

like this Gunshow Waiting Line "story" about Wolf quality contol is irresponsible.
feel free to POST this alleged order from Mr. Medvedev! (I won't hold my breath).

Wolf Ammo is made by several different Russianicon (and some other Euro arsenals) and is as good as ANY American budget manufactured ammo (actually better than a lot).

This as silly as the "it will destroy your barrel, break your extractor, etc. stuff people always say about Wolf.

Heck, I was advising people to buy Wolf 45ACP at 6 bucks a BOX a year or two ago. Now, try 15.95 WHOLESALE.

this is about HALF of the .45 ACP I scarfed up before things go whacky. I have enough of the .223 to last me a LONG time! ho ho ho.

I have shot Wolf in 9mm, .45, 223, and .30 carbine. Never had a problem with any of it. It seems as of late, that is all you can find.

Barnual sporting 762x39 produces 2" groups at 200 yards with my Russianicon SKS , while the Wolf patterns like my BT99 at 25 yards and is very dirty.
Their .22 match target and match extra give me dime size patterns at 50 yards and quarter size patterns at 100 yards with my anschutz 1903. I have seen Wolf .223 jam an Armalite AR while RR ARs eat it up. Have not dared to fire it in my Carbine. But it all goes bang.

I agree with Hugh...The most maligned ammo in recent history, with Aguila coming in 2nd. I think I know why, but bringing up prejudice doesn't dignify the discussion. BTW, I clean after each range session so what's the problem?

Please explain to me why it destroyed the extractor in my .380.....Don't tell me it isn't crap. I've seen 3 other firearms damaged by it too.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I have shot at least 1000 rds. of .30 carbine through 8 different CMPicon carbines with zero problems. I have shot several cases of 9mm wolf through a MAC-10 a Uzi, and MP-5, with zero problems. I have shot quite a bit of Wolf .45 through two M1A1icon Thompsons, a M3A1 Greasegun, and three different pistols with zero problems. Maybe I'm just lucky.

    a poor quality metallurgy extractor

broke your extractor in your Jennings/Bryco pistol. Why extractors break in your gun or any of these 3 other "alleged" weapons has nothing to do with the ammo. I have fired thousands of rounds of Wolf ammo 7.62/39, .223, and .45 with zero problems ever. Not even a jam.

Saying X,Y, or Z did this that or the other via the internet is worth exactly as much credibilty as the reader/consumer cares to give it. for me,that means not much if any.

The RUskies have been making a LOT of reliable ammo for a LONG dang time. It's not rocket science (oh wait, they beat us in that once too!) LOL!
