    It was strictly Marine. The nice thing about it is it allows the soldier in the prone position to be very low. The double (M14icon) Universal Pouch the Army does not work as well.

    There is a special ammo belt for that pouch which has about 7 or 8 snaps around it to store the pouches. Notice there are two snaps on each pouch. That allows those in combat to carry the pouch upside down.

    13 snaps: OK I never counted them. I have seen a lot of regular sized belts and only one large. I assume the large betl has more snaps.

    BTW large pistol belts are always scarcer than regular.


    I have seen a variety of finishes and colors on GI M14icon magazines. New, used, refinished; you name it.

    I do not know understand the post.
