SL stamped mag
my newest early underwood, came in today, the magazine that came with it is stamped SL, it also looks like there is a partial circle around it, has early features too,.
question is, is it WW2 vintage? is it rare ?

from what you said it sounds like it could be one of several in th SP section of that page. The type of base will also help ID it.

It was made by M.S. Little Co. Its not real common, but I wouldn't call it rare either. Yes, it is WWII vintage.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

Thanks guys, I was gonna post as I picked up a bunch of mags, all w/different markings, a few I couldn't ID. That list is great. You two are an asset to this forum .

Seriously, with carbines drying up, maybe magazines is another venue to start collecting in. I understand that some guys have amassed a large mag collection.
