    Pic of busted carbines, WW2

I hope they are checking the parts for the correct makers codes before they put them together!

Old Photos ! We all like them, especially Charlie. Do you have any more ? Here's a pic of mine I like, found after much research. A few good men having a beer on R+ R, or just before going into it, in N.Z late 42, early 43. I suspect the Carbine on the right hand side of the pic is brand new. I put this on CSPicon about 5 years ago, posted again for you guys new to this forum who are interested in genuine old pics. Mike.

Hi Mike, can you tell if they are Marines? My father was there in that time frame with the 3rd Marines, before staging on Guadacanal then making the 1 Nov 43 landing on Bougainville. Thanks, Don

The carbine the GI is holding on the right looks like the barrel is bent.

Hi Don ! I do not have the expertise to tell from the photo if they are Marines or Army. However, I do have heaps of info available about the U.S Military being in N.Z prior to, and after, various essential battles in the Pacific. Been collecting it for years as those times are much remembered and appreciated by Kiwis !. P.M me with your e mail and I'll try to help. Mike.
