The Utah Ordnance Plant was operated by the Remington
Arms Company under contract with the federal government. The
plant was under construction in 1941 and began operation in
early February, 1942 During the years of 1942 and 1943, the
ordnance plant was In full operation. From December 1943 to
late 1946, the plant was on standby status.
Don't see many of these lately, the can has been opened so premium price is no longer possible for a single whole purchase. You can piece-meal the boxes, I know I don't have one of these.
And finally Ozark Surplus is selling the same item for $20 a box.

I paid $15 each for 10 boxes. I thought that they were unusual enough to pay that. I have enough Greek M2 to shoot in my Garand and I would only shoot these in my Eddystone.
