Hooked Quillion on eBay
Just looking on eBay U.K. and there appears to be a hooked 1907 up for grabs today, with the bidding ending in about 10 hours time. The current interest now stands at just over the £200 mark but will, no doubt, rise during the day. My limited I.T. skills don't permit me to set up a link or show the page here but those interested should be able to find it on eBay. To me it looks like it's been converted to D.P. spec with a slightly rounded off point. Any other thoughts regarding this bayonet would, I'm sure, be interesting

Yes it's the second one down, in your list. Strangely although the vendor and bayonet are located in the U.K. it seems to only come up under worldwide eBay.

Its what few dealers were doing, going on to different countries site and listing the bayonets after bayonets and Knives become dangerous items in the UK......
The UK Based one is average condition and with the damage to the tip of the blade I wouldn't expect it get over £250, with a decent blade then I would guess £400+ or a lot more to collector of the 4Th battalion South Staffs.......
The one with the first pattern Scabbard is the one to go for in NZ, thats what sells in the UK on a dealers table for £1000+

Apparently it sold for £338.28 when translated into pounds shillings and pence. Thanks for the information; there seems to be a lot of things to slip up over when trying to purchase a hooked 1907.
