Hi, as I've got plenty of free time on my hands at weekends like a lot of the world at the moment, I've been checking over my rifles and tidying stuff up that I've left over time.
On my SMLE the front hand guard has developed a bow - bearing at the nose cap and swivel band but very gappy in between. Has anyone found a way to straighten them or do I just need to accept its going where it wants to and get a new one (handguard that is, not SMLE!).
Thanks in advance, Jon

Well they say woods got a memory but you could try this and put a large dowel in the chanel and clamp it down either end and on the bow to take the bow out of it Jack Rowe's videos give you an insight into a Master Gunsmith of yesteryear.........
