Our local VFW/Legion Club had a District meeting last Friday night and the local Commander asked me if I would display some of my military rifles for the meeting. I didn't have any dispaly stands so I found a design and made some. Here are some photos of the display. A lot of the Veterans really enjoyed being able to see and compare the rifles.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Outstanding display and AWESOME collection!!!

Putting that together for the vets was a very nice thing to do and I can only imagine how rewarding it was.

You can do things for family, neighbors, strangers; but nothing gives me more pleasure than doing something for a VET, if it's nothing more than placing a hand on a recovering or disabled VET's shoulder because I'm too choked to do more.

Thanks for what you've done for your locals.
